Theraputic Approach

I believe that while our challenges are deeply personal, they don't happen in a vacuum. My theraputic approach is rooted in a humanist perspective. I view my clients as whole people—not a diagnosis—living within a complex web of relationships, environments, and histories.

In our sessions, this looks like a genuine partnership where your lived experience is respected and your innate strengths are the foundation of our work. To help you navigate day-to-day hurdles, I integrate practical, evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This blend allows us to explore the "why" behind your feelings while giving you the "how" to manage difficult emotions, improve your relationships, and create sustainable change.

My areas of specialty include: anxiety disorders and coping skills, depression, subtance use, trauma & PTSD, identity formation, obsessive tendancies and perfectionism, school issues, social media addiction, relationship issues, grief, life transitions, and parenting. I specialize in serving the following communities:

  • Navigating the transition from high school to college and beyond is a unique developmental hurdle. I support young people and students as they manage academic pressure, identity formation, and the digital complexities of modern life.

  • My practice is deeply inclusive of those for whom faith is a central part of life. I have extensive experience working within the Jewish community and with individuals of all backgrounds who seek a therapist who respects the influence of spiritual identity and religious tradition.

  • I understand the unique burden of burnout, secondary trauma, and the high-stakes environment of the medical field. I provide a confidential space for providers to be "the person in the chair" for a change.

  • I provide supportive care for those navigating the transitions of later life, including retirement, health changes, and the search for continued meaning and legacy.
